Small browser records used by web services
Cookies and similar storage technologies can remember a session, protect a request, store a preference, support a PWA or measure how a service is reached. Some records remain only for a session; others persist until they expire or are deleted through browser settings.
A cookie cannot by itself read arbitrary files from a device. However, cookie or technical data may become personal data when combined with an account, IP address, device identifier or other identifying information.

GDBET does not currently use Google Analytics. The service mix may change when a provider is replaced or a feature is removed; this page should be updated when that happens.
Browser and device settings manage storage
Most browsers allow cookies and site data to be viewed, blocked or deleted. Push notifications can be disabled in the operating-system or browser settings. Removing PWA data may sign the member out, remove saved preferences or require fresh resources to be downloaded.
Privacy controls can affect service continuity
Blocking all cookies or site storage may prevent session continuity, account authentication, fraud protection, PWA installation, notifications or embedded support from working normally. Optional marketing measurement can be blocked without creating a right to bypass essential security controls.

Why does the GDBET PWA use device storage?
The PWA uses service-worker and web storage for app-like loading, automatic resource updates, session continuity and preferences.
Can GDBET push notifications be disabled?
Yes. Notification permission can be disabled through the device or browser settings.
Does GDBET have a cookie preference centre?
No. GDBET does not currently provide a separate on-site preference centre or cookie banner; members can use browser and device controls.
